I. Introduction of Anqing Normal University
Anqing Normal University (AQNU) is located in Anqing, a famous national historical and cultural city, a national civilized city and an excellent tourist city in China. The university enjoys a long history, being the birthplace of higher education in Anhui province in modern times. The university has two campuses, Longshan campus and Linghu campus, which cover an area of 2,800 mu (about 1.87 square kilometers) altogether. There are 17 colleges and 72 undergraduate majors, covering 10 discipline categories, including literature, economics, history, law, education, science, engineering, management, agriculture and art. There are 11 academic master programs (Marxism, Chinese Language and Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics, Education, Chinese History, Ecology, Information and Communication Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Software Engineering) and 11 professional master programs (Education, Law, Sports, Translation, Journalism and Communication, Fine Arts, International Business, Social Work, Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Applied Psychology, and Mechanical Engineering). The university now has faculty of 1,800 and more than 29,700 full-time students. AQNU has formed friendship and cooperation with a number of overseas universities, including Salisbury University, University of Central Arkansas, University of Hildesheim in Germany, and Hanseo University in South Korea. It has carried out effective cooperation with these universities in terms of faculty exchange, students exchange, teaching and research, etc.

II. Program Introduction
1. Summer Institute (SI)
The Summer Institute (SI) is a 2-week summer programme that brings together students to explore various academic fields and gain insights into future studies at AQNU. The SI challenges students’ inquisitive minds and immerses them into the fascinating university teachings.
By joining the SI, students can explore a variety of subject areas through short courses taught by AQNU scholars, enjoy the vibrant student life at the lushly green campus which also provides a peaceful backdrop for studies, and gain valuable insights into adapting to the university learning environment, with the guidance and support from AQNU students, faculty and staff members.Students can also connect and build meaningful relationships with peers from diverse backgrounds, make informed decisions about their academic and intellectual pursuits via a transformative and empowering learning journey, and earn a maximum of two credits which may be applied towards future undergraduate studies at AQNU (with terms and conditions applied).

2. The Short-Tern Exchange Programs of School of Biological Sciences
This program is designed for one week for students to learn Chinese culture and participate in various practical teaching activities of the School of Biological Sciences, including visiting the herbarium and laboratories, and participating in various professional practical activities for local students.

2. Photocopy of the passport;
3. The original transcript of all courses of the previous degree. The transcript should be in Chinese or English; Non-Chinese or English materials must be provided with original copies of the translated version.
